At NPLH, senior pet care is not only a specialty—it’s a heartfelt passion. Our journey began with our beloved first dog, Annie. As she aged, we dedicated ourselves to learning everything we could to support her through her golden years. Through continuing education, exploring alternative therapies, managing medications, and a fair amount of trial and error, we discovered what it means to truly care for an aging pet with compassion and dignity.
Annie taught us that supporting senior pets—and their families—is our true calling.
Pets over the age of eight often require a different approach than they did in their younger years. Fortunately, advancements in veterinary medicine over the past decade have provided us with a wide range of tools to help our senior companions age with grace, comfort, and peace of mind.
Our senior care philosophy centers on enhancing quality of life, offering emotional support, and providing sensitive, individualized care during what can be a challenging phase of your pet’s life. We are deeply committed to honoring each pet’s journey with respect, compassion, and comfort.
What Our Senior Care Includes:
- Customized pain management and physical comfort plans
